my stay at candlewood was fantastic! the studio queen suite was exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable. it’s in a nice area with great security, so parking was a breeze. plus, it’s super close to the uss texas battleship! the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me.

I had a nice time here! The staff was super friendly, and Tonya really took care of us. The kitchenette in my studio was handy, and I loved having a good-sized fridge. The only annoyance was a smoke alarm going off at 4am, but they handled it as best as they could. Location was perfect, close to shopping and restaurants.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed a challenging round of golf at the Battleground Golf Course and even went for a 2.5-mile hiking tour of the battleground. The location was nice and quiet, and the room had all the modern comforts we needed for our stay. Would recommend it for sure!

Also, my room didn’t have the DVD player that was mentioned in the details. It wasn't a big deal for my stay, but worth noting. Overall, there was a lack of daily room service, which was a little surprising since I expected more regular tidying up during my visit. The nearby Captain Benny's is definitely a must-try for good food, too.
